Jeff Trost - drums, percussion
Jeff started playing drums in 1988, and performed with the Kankakee High School Show Choir, Mixed Choir, and Girls' Choir. After high school, he performed with Kankakee area bands "Western Male", "Infinity", and "Mesa" (with Lori). He retired from music for almost 20 years, until Lori called him to audition for "The Parrot Troupers". Jeff (along with Lori) is a founding member of "JUST ROLL WITH IT", but Jeff's wife gets credit for naming the band...and it's not just a name, it's a way of life...because no matter what happens, we "just roll with it!"
Lori Buckman - vocals, sax, flute, keyboard, percussion
Lori studied music education at Eastern Illinois University and Vandercook College of Music, and taught band, choir, and general music for 23 years in Kankakee area schools. She was previously in "2nd Time Around", "Vital Signs", "Mesa" (with Jeff), and "The Parrot Troupers" (also with Jeff). She performs with "The Jazz Time Big Band", "The Rhythm Makers Jazz Orchestra", Kankakee Municipal Band, River Valley Wind Ensemble, and pit orchestras for the Kankakee Valley Theatre Association and Limelight Theatre Group. Lori is in demand as a private woodwind instructor, clinician, and adjudicator for student music events throughout Northeastern Illinois.
